About Us
Trickle Creek Alpaca Ranch was created in February of 2006. We were looking for something to do when we retired and nothing seemed to fit. We fell in love with these lovely creatures and decided to look into the industry. Well, we were hooked. One of us is retired and the other still is in the labor force. The retired one has all the fun and most of the work with the ranch right now but is not complaining (very much) because it is a labor of love. We are a small ranch but we are growing with new aquisitions and of course new borns.
We are located in a little community south of Cadillac, Michigan. It is a quiet setting and we enjoy sitting in the sun room and watching our herd pronk and play in the pastures. We have 2 llamas which blend right in with the herd and keep a watchful eye on their surroundings. We have three barn cats, Oliva, AC & DC, Dutchess, a toy poodle, and Ms. Kitty, our retired fat cat, that rounds out our little community.
